The short version
Your wardrobe is personal, and MODAME is built as if that were true. Photographs you add are stored privately to your account, used to build your wardrobe and nothing else. Nothing is sold, nothing trains shared models, and leaving means being forgotten.

What we collect
Account details (email, optional name), the wardrobe images and metadata you add, the preferences you set, and the signals you give the product — looks saved, looks skipped, corrections made. We collect what a stylist would need to do the job well, and we stop there.

How wardrobe images are handled
When you photograph an item, the image is transmitted securely, the garment is separated from its background on our infrastructure, and both the original and the processed asset are stored privately to your account. They are never published, never shared with other members, and never used for marketing without your explicit permission.

Permissions are opt-in
Camera access is required only to add items. Calendar access, used for occasion planning, is optional. Location, used only for weather, is optional. Each permission can be revoked in your phone's settings at any time, and MODAME continues to work — with less context, but fully.

Model training
Your wardrobe images, wear history and style profile are not used to train models that serve other people. Any aggregate learning that improves MODAME generally is derived from de-identified patterns and never from your identifiable images or data.

Retention, export and deletion
Your data remains for as long as your account does. You can export your wardrobe data and images at any time. Delete your account and your wardrobe, images, history and preferences are removed from our systems within 30 days, with backups rotating out on their standard schedule.

Analytics
We measure conversion events on this website — which buttons lead to the stores, whether the launch list works — using first-party storage only. There is no advertising layer, no data brokerage and no third-party audience building.

Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that affects your wardrobe data, you will be told plainly, in the app, before it takes effect. Questions go to privacy@modame.app — answered by the people who built the system.
